That was the big QParks Birthday Bash #15yearsforfreestyle. “Come shred with us” was the motto of this party – and lots of friends, companions and riders followed the call. Last weekend, 15 years of QParks were celebrated with a Common Shred at Axamer Lizum – including everything a big fat birthday bash calls for.

The last stop of the Shred Poker Sessions led riders from Vinschgau as well as internationals into the Snowpark Schöneben. Under best weather conditions, the riders were on the hunt for poker chips which were swapped for cash and goodies at the end of the session.

Spring did not arrive at the SKYLINE SNOWPARK Schilthorn yet. In fact, with a unique winter scenery and lots of snow there is no clue that it´s already mid March. At least that´s what all riders must have been thinking while competing at the Oakley Schilthorn Open. Even though it was snowing, many shredders took part at the second last stop of the QParks Tour to celebrate freestyle with massive runs, fine beats and good vibes.

At the very first Girls Shred Session at the Golden Roofpark Axamer Lizum a whole bunch of shred-loving girls turned up. Located near the freestyle hotspot Innsbruck, the snowpark is already a popular playground of many female riders. At the Girls Shred Session, they now had the chance to work on their shred skills together with pro coaches and showed loads of progression.

In the heart of the Dolomites, precisely at the Snowpark Alta Badia, a special event went down on March 3: The only stop of the Girls Shred Sessions on Italian soil brought a bunch of motivated girls from Italy, Slovenia, Slovakia and Austria together and the shred queens conquered park line after line. The ladies were coached, pushed and entertained by Arianna Cau. Read on and find out, how the day in Alta Badia went by.

Is there a better place for a park shooting than an XL park with 57 different obstacles in total that are spread across four areas? Exactly – There isn’t! That’s why the Blue Tomato Kings Park Hochkönig was selected as the setting for the BLUE TOMATO team riders shooting. They checked out the park from top to bottom and were accompanied by a media crew. The result is a bag full of cool shots and two sick edits.

On Saturday, March 3rd of 2018, contest action and freestyle at its best were the motto of the day at Snowpark Kitzbühel. The Sick Trick Tour Open – 7th stop of the QParks Tour 2018 and kick-off of the Sick Trick Tour – went down! Great weather and a sick setup promised a contest day straight out of the storybook. And all expectations were met: Motivated riders showed freestyle action and their best tricks!

Lots of girl power in the heart of the Black Forest was on the program for this winter’s fourth Girls Shred Session. About forty girls from all over Germany and Switzerland gathered at the badenova Snowpark Feldberg and worked with the coaches on their progression level.

On Saturday, February 24, the Nocky Mountains were rocked once again at the 6th stop of the QParks Tour! At the Nock’n’Rock, numerous motivated snowboarders gathered at the Snowpark Turracher Höhe and fought an awesome freestyle battle – only the weather didn’t quite play along.

Black Yeti welcomed almost 75 of the best young riders from 11 different Nations around the world, arrived to compete on the slopestyle of the Pila ski resort. Despite challenging conditions caused by snowfall and low visibility, the riders exhibited a very high level of riding and great tricks.

What is needed to have a rad session? An extensive setup would be nice, snow shouldn’t lack either and -of course- bluebird is a must-have. Under these awesome conditions the film- and photo shooting took place at the Snowpark Schöneben. Two motivated riders and a professional media crew had a blast at a park that has more than one line to offer.
