The Golden Roofpark Axamer Lizum is known as “the closest ride from Innsbruck”. Since there are always lots of girls sliding and jumping over obstacles in the park, it was clear that they wouldn’t want to miss their chance of a free coaching with the snowboard pros Lisa Filzmoser, Conny Bernert, Maria Kuzma and Lea Baumschlager, as well as the freeski pro Laura Wallner!

Consequently, about 50 motivated shredqueens gathered in the snowpark, thoroughly prepared the night before by parkdesigner Sam Bird and her crew. “There are always so many girls visiting our park. I think it is so cool that they now have the chance of a coaching!”, Sam confirms while opening the park for shredding – and that’s what you can do at Axamer Lizum while enjoying the incredibly stunning view over Innsbruck. Altogether ideal conditions for a successful session resulting in nice shots taken by the QParks mediacrew.

After a short introduction by the coaches, the girls started the day with a common warm-up. Then the girls assigned themselves, according to their shred skills, to the coaches and tackled the obstacles in the jib and kicker line. Everyone was super motivated and hiked up the park to work on their shred skills together with the moral support of the coaches.

At lunchtime, freshly grilled burgers were being served to the girls so they gathered new energy for some more hiking and the coaching sessions in the afternoon. Also, the break is the perfect time for getting to know each other better, making new friends and getting some extra tips from the coaches. Rider Lena Kerbler summarizes the day: “Today was awesome! I am not so scared of the obstacles anymore!”.

At the end of the day, all girls were rewarded for their great progression with goodies by NIKITA, WeAre, Golden Ride and QParks. Take a look at the girls’ day and watch the snowboard recap of the session.
