<div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">BBQ, live DJ, perfect weather, the first Shaper Games in QParks history, a Drinks for Tricks Session at the slushy Golden Roofpark, solid beverage choices ranging from Organics by Red Bull to beer, a little bit of nostalgia with retro outfits and – of course – a sick après-shred-party. That’s the QParks Birthday Bash in a nutshell.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The weather couldn’t have been any better: At noon, the thermometer showed sunny 15 degrees above zero – not a trace of wind, bluebird. Park designer Sam Bird and her crew had polished the setup of their Golden Roofpark with special care. All in all, the conditions were more than just perfect: However, weather and park were outshined by one thing only: The unmistakable 80s-outfits of some visitors. Why 80s-outfits, one might ask? Well, just 100 metres above the park, the infamous “Ugly Skiing Day” went down. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Drinks for Tricks & Shaper Games</strong></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">While the morning was pretty chilled with simply hanging out, riding some laps and greeting familiar faces, the afternoon went down with a sportier competition. </div><div style="text-align: justify;">With the season being (almost) over, all the new tricks learnt so far were presented at the Drinks for Tricks Session – and every cleanly executed trick was rewarded with drink vouchers that could be redeemed at the party.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">In the spirit of the Olympic year, the first official Shaper Games passed off at Golden Roofpark Axamer Lizum. The more or less sporty tournament was divided into the three disciplines snow-weighing, rolling up fences and throwing concrete snowboard boots at a target. It was a thrilling battle, finally won by the shapecrew of Snowpark Turracher Höhe – with a short lead of one point.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>The Super Sweet 15 Party</strong></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The lifts closed and after a while everybody had made their way down to the Hotel Lizum 1600, where dinner and the following party were on the program. However, celebrating 15 Years definitely calls for some nostalgia: A short documentary edit highlighted the origins of QParks and the many milestones that were hit over the years. Speeches and honors followed, all the long-term employees were thanked. And all those who still weren’t in the right throwback mood, could take a closer look at the party decoration: The best (party-)pictures of the last 15 years where decoratively hanging from the ceiling. But that wasn’t the end of the night: Dancing to the beats from <strong><a href="https://www.facebook.com/bvsbl/" target="_blank">B.Visible</a></strong>, the guests celebrated until late at night – and a lot of new pictures for the next anniversary were collected.</div>
