The weather at the last Shred Poker Session of this season was just amazing. In marvelous sunshine you couldn’t find a single cloud in the sky. Over 40 riders hit the road and travelled to the Snowpark Schöneben, where they were pretty impressed with what they saw: a huge special obstacle which offered some sweet possibilities for all riders. Jib kings as well as airtime lovers would find their full satisfaction at this obstacle with its jumps, rails and boxes.

After a short riders meeting, the session went straight to the point and motivated by the versatility of the park feature, the riders showed a high versatility in their tricks. You could see everything from sweet straight airs to wild flips, as well as smooth slides and steezy lip tricks. The riders rode together and not against each other just how it’s supposed to be at a real Shred Poker! Throughout the session, the atmosphere among the riders was super easy. They helped each other with difficult tricks during the session and pushed each other. A lot of shred gamblers showed a lot of progression and left the session with some new tricks.

After the sweet shred session, it was time for the prize giving and the riders began to count the poker chips they had collected. In the women’s category Maike Herkenrath collected the most chips and won 50€ cash. With the most variety, style and progression, Philip Schmider won the men’s category with 20 collected poker chips and took home 200€ prize money. Niklas Oberrauch collected one poker chip less which got him the strong second place. The Flying Dutchman Kevin Ignacia visited Schöneben with his shred crew from the Netherlands and was stoked about the atmosphere and the event itself. He finished third and was also pretty impressed by the whole setup of the playground.

In the end, every rider had won some poker chips which could be swapped for sweet goodies sponsored by TSG, Pinetime Clothing, POW Gloves, Amplifi and QParks. So every participant was a winner. With these hot prizes the sausages began to sizzle on the grill and the BBQ was on! As the session was pretty exhausting the riders relaxed at the chill area with some delicious sausages and cold beer. It was an epic day full of shred, chill and sick prizes!
