Suddenly, a wild bunch of 50 girls appears on the horizon – among them the Freeride World Tour winner Anne-Flore Marxer. This can only mean one thing: It’s Girls Shred Session today!

The Shred Poker season started with a real banger! At Snowpark Ehrwalder Alm, the riders gave everything to receive the highly desired poker chips and to swap these for cash and goodies. The result was a day full of steezy moves, smooth beats and a massive BBQ!

A whole bunch of motivated riders from lots of different countries, a perfectly shaped contest line and loads of prize cash and goodies: Stop number four of the QParks Snowboard Tour seemed to have everything a rad contest needs. Just the weather was a real deal breaker. But heavy fog wouldn´t stop the riders from having a nice session at the park.

This year 11 World Rookie Tour famous riders will participate to the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang, where they will impress the public with their talent and their skills.

Snowfall, cold temperatures and bad visibility? Even these kinds of conditions don’t hinder real shred queens from shredding the park! Last Saturday, the Blue Tomato Girls Day went down at Superpark Planai. About 35 motivated shred sistas gathered at the park in order to go for some runs and talk shop together while working on their progression.

The World Rookie Tour is having success not only among riders in Europe, but also in other continents. The Black Yeti arrives in the United States where will take place for the time three World Rookie Tour events: the USASA Grom Fest Keystone, the USASA Grom Fest Breckenridge and the Mammoth Rev Tour Rookie Fest in amazing resorts and snowparks. The winners of these contests will be able to partecipate to the World Rookie Finals at Kitzsteinhorn Zell am See Kaprun, in Austria, whereas the other riders will have the opportunity to gain points for the World Rookie Rank.

The all-female-shape crew guarantees lots of girl power in Obergurgl on a daily basis – but last Saturday the crew around park designer Francine was able to welcome even more girls to the parks: The first Girls Shred Session of this winter went down in Obergurgl. It was a bluebird day with coaching and even more progression.

The first stop of the QParks Tour at the Snowpark Schöneben was planned to be one big freestyle party, as there was enough to celebrate: 15 years QParks, the beginning of the tour and last, but not least the brilliant work of the shapecrew, that managed to build a sweet contest line even though it dropped masses of fresh pow the days before. Only the weather seemed to be in a bad mood, but that didn´t stop anyone from partying.
