Vans Skateboarding Presents a fresh look inside the life of Vans Family member, Justin Henry, on the heels of turning pro with Quasi Skateboards. Hailing from Columbus, Ohio, Justin is all about giving back to his community. Quasi’s unique approach to announcing Justin’s pro status with a billboard in his hometown kicks off this personal look at his days post-pro and features newly released footage from Quasi’s archive.

Vans Skateboarding proudly presents Alright, OK, a new skate film featuring global signature team riders Elijah Berle and Gilbert Crockett, with a special guest appearance by Justin Henry. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Greg Hunt—whose talent brought to life Vans’ first full-length skateboarding video, PROPELLER—Alright, OK is yet another masterpiece, encapsulating an epic labor of love by pro Elijah Berle, who worked tirelessly over two hard years to land arguably the best tricks of his career. Elijah shares the screen with Vans teammate and Richmond native, Gilbert Crockett, whose contrasting, eccentric style flows alongside Elijah’s timeless form like yin to yang.

Director Greg Hunt reunites the two for the first time since the release of Vans PROPELLER in 2015, finding skate spots from all over the globe in Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Portugal, New York and their home states of Virginia and California. Skateboarding has a gift of bringing together the most unlikely people from around the world, through the love of the simple act of rolling.

Filmed earlier this year, Justin Henry’s World Peace uplifts the importance of rallying around community and youth, and fostering a kinder world with equality for all. Grounded in the brand values of inclusivity and being open to everyone, Vans believes this unifying message must be told, and stands in support with Justin as we continue to drive positive change.

With strong ties to his hometown of Columbus, Ohio, and its local skateboard scene, Quasi Skateboards’ Justin Henry grew up skating crusty spots and learning the value of putting in work and making each try count. He invited Vans inside that world recently, recounting his journey from young talent to pro, and his determination to give back to the community that has shaped him. As part of an upcoming footwear collaboration with Justin Henry releasing July 6 at select skate retailers, Vans is giving back to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio with a $10k donation. Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mission supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
