59 seconds with... Nico Bondi and Mia Brookes in Laax. Vans have recently added two new young guns to their roster, Mia Brookes and Nico Bondi. While in Laax for the 2020 Vans Hi Standard we took a few runs with these two rippers through the park, the pow and also the skatepark - which they both destroyed. It was good to see these kids psyched on riding powder and stylish snowboarding, rather than just caring about contest results. They do both ride contests, but they’ve clearly got their priorities right when it comes to snowboarding. Keep your eyes on them, because they are the future. Video Highlights: Best of Women’s Snowboard Slopestyle | Dew Tour Copper 2020 #dewtour #snowboarding #coppermountain Closing out Dew Tour Copper as the final competition of the week were the women of snowboarding slopestyle. Due to another day of heavy snow and winds, the riders met and reached a group decision to exclude the final three jumps from the lineup. Still, eight of the world’s best each took turns dropping the hammer on the rail sections, for a total of three runs each.
