<div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">From November 16th to 18th 2018, the Albertville Olympic Hall will organize a unique event in the world: the White Festival, the first indoor show combining freestyle skiing and snowboarding and music! For 3 days, 28 of the world's best freestylers, including Olympic and X Games medalists, will meet in Albertville, Savoie, France. The White Festival is a new format: riders will compete in teams of two, composed of a ski and a snowboarder, four teams at a time. Their goal: to conquer the four modules of this indoor snowpark.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The White Festival is also 3 days of concerts, DJ sets and entertainment of all kinds. Produced by the Communauté d'Agglomération Arlysère and the Albertville Olympic Hall, the White Festival has a special godmother: Marie Martinod, two-time Olympic vice-champion!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>AN EXCEPTIONAL PLAYGROUND</strong> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">During the White Festival, the mythical Olympic Hall, the site of the 1992 Olympic Games, will transform itself into a snowpark. An exceptional playground with an imposing pyramid composed of four specially created jump zones covered with snow produced on site. All aspects of freestyle will be highlighted: big air, slopestyle, halfpipe - the three Olympic disciplines - but also urban. This installation will allow the guest riders to multiply the spectacular sequences - jumps, rails of all kinds - to the delight of the 5,000 spectators installed in the stands arranged all around.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>A NEW FORMAT ACCESSIBLE TO ALL</strong></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The competition format proposed by the White Festival is also totally original. The riders will evolve in teams of two and each duo will be composed of a snowboarder and a skier, a first in the history of freestyle! </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Towed by "winches" that will give them the speed they need to perform their tricks, the pairs will start four by four at more than 70km/h to attack the modules to the rhythm of a breathtaking show of light and live music. Each team will be judged on traditional criteria - technical difficulty, execution and amplitude - but also on the overall harmony that emerges from their performance.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">To make the competition easily understandable to the uninitiated, each team is assigned a colour. At the end of each run, the different jump zones take the colour of the team with the highest score. The goal: to conquer the pyramid of jumps and display its color on the 4 modules.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>WORLD'S BEST WILL BE IN ALBERTVILLE</strong></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Before the start of the season, 28 of the best international ski and snowboard riders of the moment, men and women, will be in Albertville! Among them, Olympic medalists in 2014 and 2018 in ski and snowboard slopestyle and halfpipe, many X Games medalists... La crème of riders will be in Albertville! </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Twelve teams of men (24 riders) will compete, alongside 4 women (in demonstration).</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The list of teams:</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">France – Marie Martinod (skiing)</div><div style="text-align: justify;">France – Coline Balet-Baz (skiing)</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Swiss – Sarah Hoefflin (skiing)</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Slovakia - <strong>Klaudia Medlova</strong> (snowboarding)</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">France – Hugo Laugier (skiing) &<strong> Sacha Moretti</strong> (snowboarding)</div><div style="text-align: justify;">USA – Taylor Seaton (skiing) & <strong>Jake Pates</strong> (snowboarding)</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Europe - Tom Ritch (skiing) & <strong>Ethan Morgan</strong> (snowboarding)</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Europe II – Henrick Harlaut (skiing) & <strong>Sebbe de Buck</strong> (snowboarding)</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Sueden – Jesper Tjader (skiing) &<strong> Ludvig Billtoft </strong>(snowboarding)</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Norway - Oystein Braaten (skiing) & <strong>Markus Kleveland </strong>(snowboarding)</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Swiss – Laurent de Martin (skiing) & <strong>Max Buri</strong> (snowboarding)</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Canada – Phil Casabon (skiing) &<strong> Frank Bourgeois</strong> (snowboarding)</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Oversea I - Jossi Wells (skiing) & <strong>Sam Taxwood </strong>(snowboarding)</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Oversea II - Jackson Wells (skiing) & <strong>Nik Baden</strong> (snowboarding)</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Oversea III – Nico Porteous (skiing) & <strong>Kyle Mack</strong> (snowboarding)</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Finland - Antti Ollila (skiing) & <strong>Roope Tonteri</strong> (snowboarding)</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>AN EVENT FOR ALL</strong></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Beyond the competition, the White Festival is also, and above all, a transgenerational event, open to all. During these three days of celebration, during which winter will invite itself even before the season kicks off, the 10,000 spectators expected at the Olympic Hall will be able, among other things, to learn freestyle supervised by ESF instructors while fun and playful activities will be made available to the children. A brand village run by outdoor industry players will offer meetings with the big names in skiing and snowboarding, spaces dedicated to professionals...</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">On Friday and Saturday, at nightfall, once the show is over, the riders will give way to DJs whose sets will in turn set fire to the Olympic Hall with an eclectic selection. The audience will be able to dance to the rhythms of electro-pop sounds with the famous Para One, French DJ and emblematic figure of the Ed Banger label, and Rhino - who made a name for himself with his remixes of the soundtracks of the Games of Thrones and Vikings series. Mike Rock, official DJ of HellFest and FISE, will surround the Olympic Hall with his rock/electro mixes. Finally, the local scene will be represented with the young and talented reggae singer from Annecy Mardjenal who will illuminate the Olympic Hall with his album "Smile".</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>TICKETS ARE ON SALE</strong></div><div style="text-align: justify;">To see the best in freestyle and to attend concerts, you can go and buy your ticket on the official website of the event <strong><a href="https://www.white-festival.com/" target="_blank">www.white-festival.com</a></strong> and on <strong><a href="http://www.halleolympique.com/" target="_blank">www.halleolympique.com</a></strong>.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div>
