The craziest race is the Downhill World Championships 2024 inside WSG2024. The Downhill Skateboard, Inline, and Street Luge disciplines put on an incredible show in Tortoreto, Abruzzo region of Italy, during the World Skate Games 2024. Nearly 300 riders across the three disciplines came to show their skill on the world stage. The event began with time trials, which determined both medalists and qualifiers for the final race. Renato Pennuti had the fastest time in Men’s Inline, while Romane Favia led the women’s category. Mickel Echegary Diez topped the Men’s Street Luge time trials, with Rose Hill leading the women. Adrien Paynel was the fastest in Men’s Downhill Skateboarding, and Katerina Hill was the top woman. On race day, the competition was intense, with heats determining the finalists. In Men’s Downhill Skateboarding, Harry Clarke took gold, followed by Andréas Bouclier and Adrien Paynel. In the women’s event, Selina Theiler won gold, with Lisa Peters and Katerina Hill earning silver and bronze. Mickel Echegary Diez won Men’s Street Luge, with Ryan Farmer and Abdil Mahdzan taking second and third. Pastor Loreline claimed first in Women’s Street Luge, while Sabrina Riffenburgh and Rose Hill finished second and third.
