Europe's Oldest Skateboarding Contest | MYSTIC SK8 CUP 2019 25 years is a long time for a skate contest to run. The Mystic Cup started life as an extension of the European professional contest circuit, which was the basis of many a 'Summer In Europe' issue of 411 Video Magazine and a vital part of that era's skate culture as a result. In 2019 it continues to be a fun contest full of heavy skating. Watch Lucy Adams catch up with the contest organizers on the history on Mystic Sk8 Cup and cover the 2019 Mens & Womens events.

Every Banger from Prague’s 24th Mystic Cup. New faces wow a full house in the Prague sunshine during a finals dogfight that was pulsing with energy and atmosphere. Endslate: Now fully 24 years deep, the Mystic Cup’s attendees are generations-long, with locals who may have entered here back in the 1990s now returning with their partners and children to pass the flame along; a wonderful thing to see. Outside of the industry axis, the Mystic Cup has been building on all fronts steadily and this year, even with the additional seating and maximized usage of vantage points, it was still packed to the rafters for Sunday’s finals on the new course. They simply can't get any more fans in; people scaled the very structural joists of the marquee itself to watch and whoop, eyes wide with anticipation. How many skate events can genuinely say that in 2018?
