Boardmasters Open 2024 | Day Three Highlights Day three at Boardmasters provided us with some great action in the Wild West Jerky Longboard and BYD Pro series. Chunky sets saw the female longboarders enter the water in the morning with great performances from Mali Harbour, Lola Bleakely, Emilie Currie and Beth Leighfield which saw them go through to the semi finals. Meanwhile, in the Mens Longboard, Arthur Randell progressed into the quarter finals with the seeded round for day four. The women's QS saw amazing surfing from Annette Gonzalez Etxabarri and Tya Zebrowski (who is 14 and the current under 16 European Champion) seeing them through to the semi finals. The Open Men's QS followed the women who both surfed twice today. The competition saw outstanding performances from Patrick Langdon-Dark which comfortably saw him progres through to the Quarter Finals. Arran Strong got pipped to the post leaving Lukas Skinner and Noah Capps in Heat 4 to fight for the final places in the Quarter finals. Lukas Skinner then put on an amazing performance in the final heat of the day in the Quarters seeing him through to the semis tomorrow. Boardmasters Open 2024 | Day Two Highlights Day two at Fistral saw the start of the Wild West Jerky Longboard Pro and the Boardmasters Junior Open. The day started with action with the women's longboarders entering the water. Great performances from the LQWS notably, the smooth style of Lola Bleakley. Another great performance in the men's longboard came from Arthur Randell who is competing in all three divisions here at Boardmasters. Jack Gregorius and Louis Thomas-Hudson were the other Brits that have progressed and we'll see in the next round. In the juniors, the Local boys Lukas Skinner and Arthur Randell both sailed through their heats along with Douwe Robroch and Finley Donavon who were also both high scorers. The Junior girls closed out the day with Lila Skinner getting through to the next round along with Belle Betteridge and Georgie-May Hicks who were the highest scorers of the round. Bring on day 3!
