The final day of the Vans World Cup, event No. 2 of the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing and concluding World Surf League (WSL) Qualifying Series (QS) event of the year, saw multiple victories spread success across several surfers, including Conner Coffin (USA) who became the first Californian to take the event win, and Benji Brand (HAW) who earned the WSL Hawaii/Tahiti Nui Regional Champion title.

Tyler Wright (AUS), 23, earned her second World Title after a big day of competition at the final event of the 2017 World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT), the Maui Women's Pro. Honolua Bay delivered beautiful, five-to-seven foot (1.5 - 2.1 metre) waves as the swell filled in throughout the morning, which offered pristine conditions for the competitors. Massive upsets followed in Round 4 and the Quarterfinals, where Wright garnered the World Title by day’s end.

Stephanie Gilmore (AUS) has won the final event of the 2017 World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT), the Maui Women's Pro, today in four foot (1.2 metre) conditions at Honolua Bay after the competition saw the exciting conclusion of the Women’s World Title race yesterday.

In a historical day of surfing at the Taiwan Open World Longboard Championship, 18-year-old Hawaiian sensation Honolua Blomfield (HAW) has won the Women’s division and with it become the 2017 World Longboard Champion.

A special finals day crowned Cole Houshmand (USA) and Kirra Pinkerton (USA) the World Surf League (WSL) Live Like Zander Junior Pro In Memory of Zander Venezia its winners at Soup Bowl. The San Clemente, California, sweep earned both Houshmand and Pinkerton their first-ever Pro Junior wins in amazing fashion. Also, Pinkerton’s win moved her up the rankings to No. 2 and clinched a spot into the World Junior Championships over Samantha Sibley (USA). Conditions proved tricky for competitors as Soup Bowl’s shifting peaks continued to surprise, but the best was saved for last.

Indonesian prodigy Rio Waida (IDN) has taken out the 2017 Hello Pacitan Pro World Surf League (WSL) Qualifying Series (QS) 1,000 event in pumping waves at Watu Karung in East Java. Julian Wilson (AUS) claimed victory today at the Billabong Pro Tahiti, Stop No. 7 of 11 on the 2017 World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT), after defeating Gabriel Medina (BRA) in the Final. A full day of competition witnessed intense action from the remaining competitors as they battled through 15 heats in six-to-seven foot (1.8 - 2 metre) surf at Teahupo’o.
