On January 12th, 2019, a first-class jib setup, free BBQ & tea by Blue Tomato and sick beats once again turned Superpark Planai into a freestyle-hotspot. Despite bad eye sight, 32 riders celebrated a huge QParks Tour kick-off and competed for goodies, cash and tour points!

A freestyle contest in one of the best snowparks of Europe? That’s what you get at the Penken Battle at Penken Park in Mayrhofen. For the 4th time now, the motto at Penken Park will be “let’s get ready to rumble”. ‘Cause on February 23rd, the continent’s freestyle rookies perform for the win, some sweet cash, nice goodies and important points. And since the Penken Park is practically home to numerous pros, the young snowboarders get to shred an excellent slopestyle setup.

The first 2018.19 World Rookie Tour event in Europe concluded in the best way possible with three days of sunshine and a perfect snowpark with a down box, a down rail, a 13 meters jump,16 meters jump,a flat box and a flat rail. This year Corvatsch has welcomed almost 60 riders from all over the world: Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Poland, Finland, Austria, Italy, Ukraina, Romania and even Iceland and Japan.

The winter season is knocking on the door. Hopefully, you successfully studied the snowboard magazines to learn the freshest tricks of the season in theory. Maybe you also used the off-season to jump around like crazy on the trampoline of your local kids’ playground and brought your body into excellent shape, just like the Shape Academy does it with Penken Park. The days and your thermometer’s mercury tubes get shorter and all of you guys know what that means: you can slowly get ready for party laps at Penken Park! Just like every year, the snowboard mecca expects many shred pilgrims from all over in Mayrhofen. Until then, all we can do is wait and pray for countless dumps of white gold

The QParks Tour is the biggest rookie series for snowboarders, and as such it is touring the Alps once again. For the ninth time already, it provides motivated riders with the chance to gather first experience in the professional contest business. At seven stops in three countries, the riders are to dig deep down into their trick bags, because those who convince the judges will bag piles of cash and sweet goodies worth a total of about 22.000€. The best riders can also qualify for the crowning finale at the “Game of Diamonds” in Obergurgl.

In the winter of 2019 freeskiers and snowboarders are performing their best tricks at seven contests in Italy, Austria and Switzerland.

Once again, the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Ride Snowboards will conquer the best snow parks of Zillertal this 2018/2019 season. The 6th edition of Austria´s popular snowboard amateur series will have four events and go down between December 2018 and April 2019. As always, the Ästhetiker snowboard club will showcase first-class snowboarding across the Zillertal.
