The first stop of the World Rookie Tour Skateboard went down this Tuesday, June 18, at the Lampugnano Skate Plaza in Milan, Italy. The city has had the pleasure to welcome young and talented skaters from four different countries, for a massive dose of skateboarding.

Dew Tour Day Five: A full day of Dew Tour finals with Men's and Women's Street and Park finals concluded the first-ever global Olympic qualifying event in the U.S.

Milano is ready to host the first stop of the World Rookie Tour Skateboard, designed as a stepping-stone for riders to make the transition from the grassroots events to the elite level. On the 18th of June the best junior skaters will compete in the Lampugnano Skatepark Plaza, during one of the best summer skateboarding event in Italy, the 2019 Red Bull Skate Week.

It has been an epic 5 days of non-stop action in Montpellier with over 612 583 people attending to watch the packed schedule of competitions. How pleasant it was to see different nationalities competing in Skateboard Street on the new concrete skateboard park, with different countries but the riders speaking the same skateboarding language, with their own accent or style.

X Games Shanghai closed out with a another day filled with Skateboard, BMX and Moto X competitions, along with musical performances and interactive activities including drone and go cart racing in X Fest.

ESPN proudly lifted the curtain on a new destination for X Games at a one-of-a-kind venue adjacent to Shanghai Disney Park in Shanghai with an action-packed first day. Today and continuing into tomorrow, the venue will bear witness to Moto X, BMX and Skateboard athletes competing for gold in addition to a wide range of entertainment and interactive activities in X Fest.

Returning to U.S. Bank Stadium for the third year, X Games Minneapolis will host the world’s top action sports athletes August 1 – 4. The first wave of invited athletes for the 2019 event is now available on XGames.com. With world-class action sports athletes from all over the globe, this first wave of invites is highlighted by defending X Games Sydney gold medalists Elliot Sloan and Ryan Williams and Minnesota native Alec Majerus. X Games Norway gold medalists Leticia Bufoni and Pamela Rosa also joined the invited list.

The most elite Skateboard and BMX athletes in the world will return to Rhodes Skate Park in Boise, Idaho June 28 – 29 to compete for a chance to punch their ticket to compete in the Park competitions at X Games Minneapolis 2019. With 21 athletes invited to compete in each of the disciplines of Men’s and Women’s Skateboard and BMX Park, the top six finishers will punch their ticket to Minneapolis.

Heimana Reynolds (USA) is on the invite list for the Road To X Games Boise Park Qualifier 2019.

The UK Mini Ramp Championships will be taking place at Wheels and Fins Festival for the third year running, but for the first time it will be endorsed by Skateboard England. Also new for 2019 is festival’s introduction of a thrilling ‘Vert Ramp’ competition, with members of Team GB skate team being invited to compete at the two-day event.
