What you need to know:Both Street and Park events will be heldThere will be 20 spots for men & 20 for women for each disciplineThere will be at least 1 rider representing each Olympic Continental Zone - Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, OceaniaAt least 1 spot will go to the host country, JapanThe top 3 skaters from World Skateboarding Championships will qualify16 spots decided by the Olympic World Skateboarding RankingEach country can have 3 riders max. per discipline (max.12 qualifying riders)SLS World Tour London kicked of the events where riders can gain points for the Olympic Ranking. Skaters will earn points at certain qualifying events up until May 31st 2020. Although not fully confirmed yet, these will include top level events such as The World Champs, SLS, and Dew Tour Longbeach (coming up June 13-16), along with Continental and National Championships.The Olympic Channel has all this planned out in more depth here.
