Meet Jack Jack Ho is redefining what’s possible across surfing, foiling, and downwind riding, pushing the limits of ocean performance from the shores of O‘ahu. Born and raised in Hawai‘i near Waikiki, Jack grew up in the water, developing a deep connection to waves, movement, and the natural energy of the ocean. From traditional surfing to high-performance foiling, his approach is driven by feel, flow, and a constant search for progression. For a 21-year-old, Jack Ho has had a hell of a career. Born and raised on O‘ahu, Hawai‘i, right next to the world-famous beaches of Waikiki, Jack started surfing when he was 5 years old, and he hasn’t left the water since. That passion only intensified when, at age 13, his dad bought him a foil, which he pursued with a dedication that would quickly make him one of the best in the world. Two years later, he and a group of friends discovered downwinders, and the “Voyager Foilers” have spent the past half-decade pushing the limits of what’s possible on a foil … though Jack can still be found off the shore of O‘ahu paddling his short and longboards to catch the next swell. “My love for surfing started at a young age, and no matter what I do, I can’t shake it off,” he says. “It’s a passion that sticks with me, and the root of it is riding waves every type of way, getting out there and enjoying what my home has to offer. That’s so valuable to me and something I take a lot of pride in.” For Jack, it all comes back to the feeling, gliding across water, reading the ocean, and chasing that weightless moment that keeps him coming back every day.
