Interview : Coco Ho, sa vie après le Tour Invited by Jérémy Flores during the very first edition of the Quiksilver Festival in Hossegor last September, Coco Ho teamed up with her brother Mason for this competition in an original and unique format. It was an opportunity for the Hawaiian surfer to spend time in France, a country with which she maintains strong ties, and to wear lycra again as she does from time to time in invitational competitions, since she was born. is no longer on the Tour. We took advantage of her presence to talk about her childhood on the North Shore in the middle of one of the most emblematic families of the Hawaiian surf scene and her relationship with Mason, her brother, who definitely influenced her surfing and her competitive career. , Coco having been the youngest surfer to qualify for the Tour. After a childhood surfing and fairly early fame, her career as a pro surfer became obvious to her. Today, after more than ten years on the Tour, the Hawaiian has started a new chapter, drawing on her experience acquired at the highest level. If she told us that she would have liked to know before everything that she knows today, when she was still on the Tour, the surfer seems happier and fulfilled than ever and regrets absolutely nothing. Now, the Volcom team surfer works on clothing design for her sponsor, continues to participate in invitational competitions, works on a board design project, chooses where and with whom she goes on a surf trip and makes a point of honor to stay fit and healthy.
