The SurfAid Cup is the signature fundraiser for SurfAid globally. The first competition was held in 2011 and has grown to include two events in Australia and four in the US.

Join SurfAid and our event partners, Swami’s Surfing Association, for the 2nd Annual SurfAid Cup| San Diego. Held at Cardiff Reef known as one of California's premier reef breaks, Cardiff Reef offers a long rippable right and a punchy left which transformed Cardiff into the epicenter of surfing in North County. You’ll get to share the lineup with just a handful of friends.

The event is open to surfers of all ages and abilities and is a tag-team format. Teams of four commit to raising funds for SurfAid’s Mother and Child Health programs, ensuring access to clean water and sanitation, basic healthcare, and nutrition programs in remote and impoverished areas of Indonesia and Mexico. Each team gets to add one pro to their roster, making this a once in a lifetime opportunity to surf alongside some of San Diego’s most talented surfers. Some of the past pro’s include, Damien Hobgood, Josh Kerr, Jen Smith, Local legend and style master Devon Howard, Tim Curran, and Neil Messmer.

Turn one truly epic day of surfing at one of the most iconic breaks in California into a year of support for our partner communities. The suggested team fundraising minimum is $2,000 (or a single surf spot for $500) Together we aim to raise $50,000 to support women and children in remote parts of Indonesia, Solomon Islands, and Baja.
