The North Tahoe Series has a long history of fostering the development of top competitors, dating back to the days of the Nor-Cal series. For the 2016-2017 season the series will be under new direction with Gregg Janecky stepping on-board as the Series Director.

Gregg came up in the industry working on non-profit skate park projects and coaching small ski and snowboard programs in Montana. Additionally, Gregg founded and ran the not-for-profit Backwoods Project Terrain Park for 3 seasons, and has spent the last 9 summers working at High Cascade Snowboard Camp on Mt. Hood. Gregg came to Tahoe in 2012 to run the Northstar Team.

We strive to offer fun and fair events that are inclusive of all skiers, snowboarders, and teams in the region. We believe that there is more to competition than just your result, and work hard to develop a sense of community and focus on personal development in our competitors.
