Event guide:

The competition is open to both Swiss and international surfers. An overall podium will reward the winners in each category, regardless of nationality, and a “Swiss Wavepool Champion” will be named in each category at the end of the competition*.

The Alaïa Open Winter Cup is also the final stage of the Edelweiss Swiss Tour, a multidisciplinary Swiss surfing championship (River Surfing, Stationary Waveriding and Wavepool Surfing). At the end of this last competition, an overall ranking will be established and an overall champion will be crowned.
