The much-anticipated King of the Box surfing competition is confirmed for The weekend of October 12/13 promising a huge day of thrilling surf action at the infamous Box Beach wedge. With a total prize purse of $4000, divided equally between the Open Men/Women and Junior Men/Women divisions, this year's event has attracted top surfers from around the country.

Nestled in the stunning coastal surroundings of Port Stephens, Box Beach is renowned for its powerful left-hand wedge that break close to shore, providing an ideal setting for surfers and an unforgettable viewing experience for spectators. The competition promises to deliver high-octane performances and jaw-dropping manoeuvres as surfers tackle the challenging conditions.

For the first time ever, the event will be using a unique “Best 1-wave format”, designed to showcase the venue and push competitors to new levels.
