With around 13,300 West Australians diagnosed with cancer each year, many of us have been touched by cancer in one way or another. For us at Surfing WA it has hit very close to home, with Surfing WA chief executive, Mark Lane, fighting his own cancer battle multiple times.

We want to break the Guinness world record for the longest line of surfboards and need 800 people to help us take the title off New York. This will be an iconic event for the Scarborough front, with 800 boards, in a line along the sand on the beach, stretching 2km to Trigg - No you dont have to get in the water, this is all on the beach.
