WHAT IS THE AUSTRALIAN BODYSURFING CLASSIC?
The Australian Bodysurfing Classic (previously known as Whomp Off Australia) is NSW’s largest surfing event. It’s a teams-focused bodysurfing competition held annually on the east coast of Australia, by the crew at WAW Handplanes. It attracts a wide range of both male and female body surfers, with over 140 global competitors registered, across 16 teams. The competitor’s age range is from 10 - 75 years old and includes many current and former world bodysurfing champions.
