OWN IT! Skate-Festival 2024 Following the successful launch of the ‘Own It Skateboard Festival’ at Düsseldorf's Schauspielhaus theatre in 2023, the second edition of the event took place in 2024. In the beginning of September, the guys from TITUS Düsseldorf, with the active support of Volcom, set up a few obstacles on the Gustaf-Gründgens-Platz, which was redesigned in 2019 and, thanks to its nature, is also ideal for skateboarding outside of events, where individual sessions then took place. And thanks to the glorious late summer weather and city-centre location, it wasn't just skateboarders who enjoyed the great event! Nachdem das „Own It Skateboard-Festival“ am Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus 2023 erfolgreich aus der Taufe gehoben worden war, gab es 2024 die zweite Edition des Events. Auf dem 2019 neu gestalteten Gustaf-Gründgens-Platz, der dank seiner Beschaffenheit auch abseits von Events zum Skateboarding lädt, bauten die Jungs von TITUS Düsseldorf mit der tatkräftigen Unterstützung von Volcom im September 2024 einige Obstacles auf, an denen dann einzelne Sessions stattfanden. Und dank herrlichem Spätsommerwetter und innerstädtischer Lage genossen nicht nur Skateboarder das großartige Event!

BRUSSELS Wide streets with lots of traffic, glazed skyscrapers surrounded by marble, medieval buildings including a royal palace and a wide gap between rich and poor people - this kind of sounds like New York. However, if you want to experience this big city vibe without travelling across the Atlantic, you don't even have to get on a plane - just head to Brussels. That's what the TITUS guys thought, too, and so Patrick Rogalski, Markus Blessing, Dani Lebron, Jesse Kloes and Jelle Maatman set off on an exploratory tour through the heart of the European Union at the end of September 2024. Welcome to „the city of ledges“! Breite Straßen mit viel Verkehr, verglaste Hochhäuser umgeben von Marmor, mittelalterliche Bauten samt königlichem Palast und eine breite Schere zwischen armen und reichen Menschen – das klingt irgendwie nach New York. Möchte man diesen Vibe einer Großstadt jedoch ohne eine Reise über den Atlantik erfahren, muss man nicht einmal in ein Flugzeug steigen sondern sollte einfach nach Brüssel fahren. Das dachten sich auch die TITUS Jungs und so begaben sich Ende September 2024 Patrick Rogalski, Markus Blessing, Dani Lebron, Jesse Kloes und Jelle Maatman auf Erkundungstour durch das Herz der europäischen Union. TITUS Locals Only Competition 2024 | The Final The TITUS Locals Only Competition, the longest-running German contest series for unsponsored skateboarders, has been around since 2009. After the local events of the 20 TITUS stores took place again in June and July 2024, the first and second place winners could look forward to a ticket to Cologne for the grand finale in the AHK, i.e. the Cologne skate hall. This provided a worthy setting last year and it was more than exciting to see who would take the title of German amateur champion in 2024. Die TITUS Locals Only Competition, ihres Zeichens die langlebigste deutsche Contestserie für ungesponsorte Skateboarder, existiert sage und schreibe schon seit 2009. Nachdem im Juni und Juli 2024 wieder die lokalen Events der 20 TITUS Stores stattgefunden hatten, konnten sich die jeweils Erst- und Zweitplatzierten über ein Ticket nach Köln freuen, zum großen Finale in den AHK, sprich der Kölner Skatehalle. Die bot schon im vergangenen Jahr einen würdigen Rahmen und man durfte mehr als gespannt sein, wer 2024 den Titel des deutschen Amateurmeisters holen würde.ly Competition 2024 | The Final
