DEEP IN | Pierre Rollet surfing perfect Desert Point & Bali on early season swell "I don't think I've ever seen waves like this. It was the best trip of my life!" When François Liets says something like that, you can be sure that the trip was insane... The story begins in the car park of Les Estagnots, where François and Pierre are discussing the forecast that are arriving in Indo. The swell promises to be amazing for Desert Point. The conversation is short, the tickets are bought for the following day and the two surfers take off with the hope of scoring perfect tubes. It's Pierre's first time in Indo. Accustomed to big waves like Jaws, Nazaré and Belharra, our rider Pierre Rollet has been hoping for some time to rediscover the essence of a surf trip. Discovering a new country, immersing himself in a new culture and surfing perfect barrels with friends in a pair of OXBOW boardshorts. 48 hours later, Pierrot and François arrive at Desert Point in their rustic accommodation, facing one of the world's most beautiful lefts.

This is Robbie Welcome back Robbie! Historic OXBOW rider of the 90s, Robbie Page is back on the team! Younger surfers discovered him in our film WALKABOUT with Arnaud Mestelan, while the older ones will remember his legendary herbal juices, crazy nights at the Cream Café, and above all, his deep tubes at Mundaka or La Gravière when he lived in France. "Pagey" or "King Volcano" has a personality as explosive as his surfing! 10 years on the ASP Tour, 25 winters on the North Shore of Oahu in Hawaii, a Pipe Masters title in 1988... Robbie is a true legend. He was the first surfer to compete under the Aboriginal flag when he won the ISA Masters World Championship in 2008. He is a surfer who's as committed to the barrels as he is to his community. All the major surfing brands have their Master on the team, this Big Kahuna guardian is of our surfing heritage and culture, and we're proud to see Uncle Robbie take on this role for OXBOW and surf again under the Four-Flowers!
