Association info: The Snowboard Federation has since 1987 been a member and interest organization of all Norwegian snowboarders. In 1997, we became our own special association under the Norwegian Sports Federation and the Olympic and Paralympic Committee (NIF).

Now the Snowboard Federation has become the Brettforbundet, a joint federation for the three original board sports snowboarding, skating and surfing. The board's vision is to show the world how important it is to have fun. Through our work, we will create activity and gather the board environments so that everyone has better opportunities to stand on the board.

The values ​​of personal freedom, sense of mastery and community are the basis of the work of the union's 11 employees and our activities. The organisation's five strategic overall goals are to create activity and develop different forms of attachment, secure recruitment for snowboarding, skateboarding and surfing, win international competitions, be the most innovative sponsor object and take responsibility for the nature we play in.
