Highlights from Finals Day of the Corona Saquarema Pro presented by Banco Do Brasil A plethora of drama still awaited on Finals Day in Saquarema with more joy, tears, and ultimately crowning Macy Callaghan and Marco Mignot the event victors. Final spots on the CT Dream Tour were realized with Vahine Fierro’s runner-up enough to solidify alongside the men’s last prospects of Edgard Groggia and Jackson Bunch not being moved from their qualification positions. Now, the 2024 Challenger Series is wrapped with Samuel Pupo and Sally Fitzgibbons earning the No. 1 spots and all eyes shift toward the mecca of surfing, and the 2025 CT, the Lexus Pipe Pro beginning January 27 through Feburary 8. Board Breakdown : Marco Mignot Finals at the US Open. Marco was a standout from the very beginning of the US Open, posting one of the highest scores of the event in the round of 64 for a giant full rotation. With more swell during this day, Marco rode his Monsta 10 shortboard at 5’10” x 18 ¾” x 2 3/8” x 27.2L. Then in smaller conditions, he went straight to a Xero Gravity in CarboTune construction at 5’9” x 19” x 2 3/8” x 27.8L, riding this all the way through to the final.
