Exposure X Full Length Video

This full-length skate video features over 100 women, trans and nonbinary skaters. Skaters submitted their video parts in an effort to win a piece of a $55,000 prize purse in Santa Cruz Best Video Part Street (14 & Under, 15-29 & 30+ age divisions), Independent Best Video Part Transition (14 & Under, 15-29 & 30+ age divisions), Krux Best Crew Video, Independent Best Trick Street, Skatelite Best Trick Transition and the Impala Skate Rising Award.

This video features full video parts from the top scoring submissions as well as cameos from every video sent in for Exposure X 2021.

First-Ever Olympic Skateboarding Team Announcement Presented by Toyota, June 21, 2021

Together with Toyota and sponsors Nike SB, Tech Deck, Jessup Griptape and ProTec Helmets, USA Skateboarding—the U.S. governing body for skateboarding—announced the 12 members who will represent Team USA for the inaugural Olympic Skateboarding team. This historic event was announced today in downtown Los Angeles, California - home to many on the Olympic team and the birthplace of skateboarding.

“I’m honored to introduce the first-ever American Olympic Skateboarding team today on Go Skateboarding Day,” said Josh Friedberg, CEO USA Skateboarding. “Skateboarders know what makes our culture special, and we couldn’t ask for a better group of talented athletes to share that with the world during skateboarding’s Olympic debut this summer in Tokyo.”

The skaters named to the 2020 Olympic Team include:

Red Bull Roller Coaster 2019 Highlights | Red Bull Signature Series

Loops, spills and raw courage were on display as the nascent downhill skate event claimed new scalps and saw some ridiculous power moves thrown down during a full-on snakerun session in Munich.

Described to a tee by today’s winner and defending champion Jake Ilardi as ‘the ultimate downhill snakerun', we saw rocket-speed charges, some over-cooked corners, and a handful of new features that could take a reckless incomer down in a heartbeat. This was not skating for the faint-hearted.
Sparked by the lively punters within the glorious river basin in which Munich Mash takes place, trailblazers including Catherine Marquis, Jordyn Barratt and Alana Smith powered through the treacherous IOU ramps danger-snake with the energy of the crowd at their backs before the Floridian man-to-beat Jake Ilardi simply threw down more moves in more spaces than anyone else could step to.

The 2019 National Skateboard Championships

This past weekend, the California Skateparks training facility in Vista served as the first stop of the 2020 Olympics qualifying season (otherwise known as the U.S.A. Skateboarding Toyota 2019 National Championships). We were there to capture all the action: the Men's Street and Park Finals; the Women's Street and Park Finals; and the Mixed Gender and Discipline Adaptive Street Finals.
