The third stop of the Girls Shred Sessions is under the motto "stay true"! This year the female progression sessions are back with lots of shredqueen action in the PenkenPark Mayrhofen. On 12.02.2022 the PenkenPark Mayrhofen will belong to all senderellas.

After a way too long break, the girls were back at Familypark Obergurgl on the weekend of 15.01.2022. Apart from progression and good weather conditions, the only thing that was important: Good vibes only!!!

On January 15th and 16th 2022, the 2nd Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop hosted by Blue Tomato and Ride Snowboards went down at the Actionpark Kreuzwiese in the ski resort of Zillertal Arena. By sticking to the 2G (vaccinated or recovered) rules and under strict safety precautions, the second competition of Zillertal´s most popular Snowboard Series was hosted by the Ästhetiker in three separate competitions and on two days.

Katja Dutu from Holland takes first place in Grom Girls category, claims “most impressive grom of the dÄy" award & wins silver in the Overall Women´s ranking at the 2nd stop of 2022 Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour hosted by Blue Tomato and Ride Snowboards, at the Actionpark Kreuzwiese in the ski resort of Zillertal Arena, Austria, January 15-16.

Livigno welcomed the international young stars of snowboarding; riders from 13 different Nations displayed a crazy high level of riding in the premium freestyle terrain and a perfect playground for all the rippers, Mottolino Snowpark. The program of 2022 World Rookie Fest has been reduced because of the Covid emergency, but all the riders and families were able to enjoy this great winter experience. The activities for the rider, for examples, included avalanche clinics and night rail jams.

French ripper Romain Allemand took the win in Rookie Boys category in the finals of 2022 Livigno World Rookie Fest, at Mottolino Snowpark, Italy, January 18. It was a big success for his team as it was awarded Best Snowboard Team and gained an invitation for the world finals of the stunning new brand event "Red Bull Hammers with Homies" that will take place in Madonna di Campiglio, Italy. Congrats!

The Superpark Planai hosts one of the four QParks Girls Shred Sessions on January 30, 2022, and invites all shred-motivated girls into the park.

The Black Yeti makes a stop in France in the beautiful resort of Guzet, located at the heart of the Pyrenees mountain range in the southern part of the country. Known for its friendly atmosphere, this resort stands out for its stunning freeriding areas, its playful freestyle park and permanent snowskate park. Come around and see by yourselves! The French Kiss Rookie Fest will host you in style, both during the contest and around. Various workshops will put the hip-hop culture forward, introducing riders to scratch, breakdance and graffiti art work. All participants will be placed under strict Covid-protection rules.

The 2022 Laax Open drew to a spectacular close on Saturday in Switzerland, with a full day of FIS Snowboard slopestyle and halfpipe action taking to the immaculate Snowpark Laax venues, where Tess Coady (AUS) and Sean Fitzsimons (USA) claimed the slopestyle victories, and Chloe Kim (USA) and Ayumu Hirano (JPN) came through with the final World Cup halfpipe wins of the 2021/22 season.

The time has come for the World Rookie Fest Livigno 2022! 80 snowboarders and 50 freeskier from 15 different countries are expected in Livigno for the first stop of the World Rookie Tour 2022 and the beautiful Mottolino Snowpark is ready to host the event. In addition to that, the Black Yeti's partner Boardriding.com crew will be in Livigno to stream all the action from both snowboard and freeski finals yet again!

The Boardriding.com team will soon be on the way to Mottolino Snowpark to get all ready for the upcoming livestream of both Snowboard and Freeski finals of 2022 World Rookie Fest Livigno (Tuesday January 18th for Snowboard and Friday January 21st for Freeski). Make sure to tune in!

The LAAX OPEN 2022 is ready to rumble. The best freestyle snowboarders from all over the world are taking the reins for the last FIS Snowboard World Cup before the Winter Olympics. From 11-15 January, snowboarders will be taking centre stage at Europe’s most renowned snowboard contest. Men and women will compete for a total of CHF 140,000 prize money in slopestyle and superpipe.

X Games Aspen 2022 welcomes fans back to Buttermilk Mountain from January 21 – 23 with world-class action sports competitions, complemented by the interactive X Fest fan zone. The X Fest area will feature sponsor activations, live DJ performances, athlete meet and greets powered by Icon Source, giveaways and more. In addition to X Fest, fans can interact with X Games Aspen throughout the week through a collaboration on several events with Aspen Gay Ski Week and nightly concerts at Belly Up for X Games Music Week.

A huge day of action at the Toyota U.S. Grand Prix at Mammoth Mountain went down on Saturday, with both slopestyle and halfpipe World Cup competitions taking to the pristine Mammoth Unbound venues where some incredible riding went down from start to finish of the day.
