Three-time World Surf League (WSL) Champion Mick Fanning (AUS) has claimed the 2015 WSL Jeep Leader Jersey after squaring off against then-ratings’ leader Adriano de Souza (BRA) in a hotly-contested Final at the Hurley Pro at Trestles. On the women’s side, two-time WSL Women’s Champion Carissa Moore (HAW) bested South African Bianca Buitendag (ZAF) to take the Swatch Women’s Pro at Trestles, her third Championship Tour victory of the season, and take the ratings’ lead heading into Europe.

Jeremy Flores (FRA) has won the Billabong Pro Tahiti in the Final bout against reigning WSL Champion Gabriel Medina (BRA) held in six foot surf at Teahupo’o. Stop No. 7 of 11 on the 2015 Samsung Galaxy WSL Championship Tour (CT) has been treated to incredible performances by the world’s best surfers, culminating today with Flores’ win.

Fitzgibbons defeated Bianca Buitendag (ZAF) in the Final after a day of big upsets which saw the world’s best female surfers battle one another in solid eight-to-10-foot (3 - 3.5 metres) waves at Cloudbreak.
