Here we go! On to the next Billabong presents: Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards event at Zillertal Arena! On January 20th and 21st, the Actionpark Kreuzwiese in Zell am Ziller will stage the second tourstop of Austria´s most popular Snowboard Amateur Series. The registration for freebie freestyle coachings and open slopestyle contest is open.

Where new stars shine and snowboard families meet! The Deejay XMasters World Rookie Fest 13th edition will take place at the Mottolino Snowpark in Livigno, Italy, one of the most famous snowparks in the European Alps, from the 20th to the 25th January 2018. To everyone looking for some freestyle action, World Rookie Fest returned with Deejay XMasters, the most famous Italian freestyle event!

The Girls Shred Sessions are back again! Also in the winter 2018, female riders will have a shredalicious time – QParks takes care of that with a number of events. Together with experienced coaches they’ve set themselves the goal to gather as many girls as possible in the snowpark, where they can work on their shred skills. During 7 sessions in 7 snowparks the girls will receive tips and tricks about shredding by professional snowboard and freeski coaches.

The Black Yeti is proud of all rookies, even this year the Corvatsch Rookie Fest was a blast. The beautiful mountain landscape and the amazing set up of Corvatsch Snowpark made the event memorable.

Finally the official calendar of the 13th edition of the World Rookie Tour has been announced! The first two stops, the NZ Rookie Fest and the World Rookie Rail Jam by Skipass, were a blast. Now the tour goes on with spectacular events in North America, Asia and in Europe, where will take place for the first time the Valle d'Aosta Rookie Fest from the 21st to the 25th February 2018 at the amazing snowpark in Pila, Northern Italy, surrounded by the highest and the most beautiful mountains of the Alps.

As the biggest rookie contest series in the Alps, the QParks Snowboard Tour will once again live up to its name: At nine stops in four countries, the aspiring rookies gather not only important points for their moves but also first experience in the professional contest business. Under the eyes of internationally experienced judges, they will perform their best tricks – after all it’s also about cash and goodies worth a total of about 15.000€. Also the riders may qualify for the crowning finale – the “Game of Diamonds” – which will go down at Snowpark Obergurgl for the first time.

The second edition of the World Rookie Rail Jam by Skipass came to an end and also this year the Rookies and the Groms were welcomed by the warm Italian temperature at Skipass tradeshow in Modena. The participants had the opportunity to compete on the best urban rail set up in Europe, designed and built by the shapers of F-Tech company based in South Tyrol.
