World Rookie Tour Skateboard kicked off with Milano Rookie Fest!

Since its inception, the Black Yeti’s goal has been to help the young athletes to show their skills and support their careers through collaboration with the most prestigious professional events. That is why during the 2019 Big Final to be held in Lisbon-Cascais, Portugal, September the 14th and 15th, tickets to the 2020 Simple Session in Tallin, Estonia, to the 2020 Mystic Sk8 Cup in Prague, Czech Republic, and to the 2020 Red Bull Roller Coaster in Munich, Germany, will be awarded to the male and female World Rookie Skateboard Champions.

Milano has had the pleasure to welcome young and talented skaters, for a massive dose of skateboarding.

Showing off excellent skateboarding, Alex Borgatti conquered the first position in the Rookie category (under21), followed by Vittorio Galetti and Joy Awosika. Alex gained the prestigious wild card for the 2019 Mystic Sk8 Cup taking place in Prague from the 28th to the 30th June, and a free invitation for the World Rookie Skateboard Finals in Lisbon and many goodies from the sponsors.

In the Grom category (skaters under15), Andrès Martin gained the highest score and conquered the gold. Matijas Nils and Leonardo Bergese followed the Italian. On the female side, Asia Lanzi, the only girl in the race (strength girls, skateboarding is cool!) was able to get ranked in the fifth overall place, in front of many boys: the girl smashes! Asia gained a free invitation for the Summer Rookie Jam Les2Alpes from the 13th to the 20th July!

All the podium and best trick skaters took home a ton of prizes from the sponsors: DC, Jart, JBL, TSG, Jail Jam, Flip, Mosaic, Frisco, Neuro, tattoo by Rock&Ride, and the qualification for the World Rookie Skateboard Finals in Portugal.

The Milano Rookie Fest kicked off in the best way the World Rookie Tour Skateboarding season. See you in Les 2 Alpes, France, for the second stop on July the 19th 2019.
