The goal of this fundraising campaign is to support the hospital of Belluno – AULSS 1 Dolomiti, which is on the front line of the fight against Covid-19.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The prizes are fourteen beautiful handmade glass plates crafted — continuing the historical tradition of the Cortina Classic — by Pio Alverà, one of the most renowned local craft workshops, which uses resins and other natural and local materials. Each plate is a unique piece and bears the words ‘Cortina 2020 Audi FIS Ski World Cup Finals’ with the name of one of the events that were to be held in <strong><a href="https://www.boardriding.com/Spots/snowpark-cortina-dampezzo" target="_blank">Cortina</a></strong>.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The auction will take place <strong>from Tuesday 31st March to Thursday 9th April </strong>and will be held on CharityStars, an Italian digital platform dedicated to raising funds through online auctions. The starting auction price for each plate is 50 Euros. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">There are many special ambassadors for this important initiative, including the President of Fondazione Cortina 2021, Alessandro Benetton, the Italian ski champions and Cortina 2021 Ambassadors, Kristian Ghedina and Sofia Goggia, the presenter of Linea Bianca on Rai 1, Massimiliano Ossini, who is very attached to the Queen of the Dolomites, and the writer Francesco Vidotto.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">“As the Organising Committee of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup Finals, we felt it was our duty to offer our support in this unprecedented challenge that Italy is facing,” said Valerio Giacobbi, CEO of Fondazione Cortina 2021. “For this reason we have decided to give all fans the chance to get one of the World Cup Finals trophies and at the same time support the hospital of Belluno – AULSS 1 Dolomiti, the main health care facility in the Province of Belluno.
