As usual the competition started with the Day for Kids category which is designed for the youngest skateboarding enthusiasts; the very youngest, was Adam Vlažný, seven, from Tábor. Roman Kadlec from Blatná won the starting category and Denis Janecek from Prague won the category of advanced. He also ranked fifteenth in the ČSP street.

Later in the day the ladies contest got going in the skate park, where Klára Kašparová from Kladno finished first. It was a shame that Adel Dončuková who was preparing for the ČSP, missed the event due to a fresh injury.

The local bowl, which is known for its speed, welcomed ten riders, and the legendary Martin Jurasek from Havířov took first place, with second going to Štěpán Troubil of České Budějovice and third to Honza Tomšovský from Hradec Králové. Those who did not know of Štěpán Troubil were surprised by the quality of his rides. Along with his second place for bowl, Štěpán also advanced to the semifinals in the street category and continues to rank in the juniors, ie riders up to 23 years.

The street course caters to more technical riders in České Budějovice and both the qualifiers and the semi-finals brought a great show. By the end of the contest the best results belonged to Martin Pek from Prague, with Štěpán Bareš finishing second, his highest placing this year. In third place was the young Honza Navrátil. The results were decided from the semi-finals due to unfavourable weather, and the best trick finals were unfortunately cancelled due to the rain.

Even with this disastrous turn of events České Budějovice was a very spectacular backdrop for the contest, which attracted over fifty riders. Interesting changes were also made in the league tables of the ČSP, where the overall ranking order of the riders in both street and the junior table, is now led by Honza Navrátil. Honza Tomšovský is leading the bowl, with David Luu topping junior bowl rankings.

The last CSF race will be held on 29.9. in Prague at Štvanice, where riders will be awarded twice the points in the running order and both the Champion of the Czech Republic and the overall winner of the ČSP will be declared.

Overall and ongoing results at www.caskate.cz.

Day for Kids Beginners:

1.
