In four consecutive build-up phases the funpark once again turned into the Superpark Planai. Thus Pavel was looking forward to the setup checkout by the Blue Tomato team riders and you can tell that, prior to the film and photo shoot, the 27 obstacles were polished: “During the season we got heaps of compliments for the creative setup. Therefore I’m extremely excited how these guys will shred the park.”

So it was the February 14, 2017, when snowboarders Felix Widnig, Clemens Schattschneider, Harald Gietler, Michi Graf and Valentin Knill met up at Superpark Planai to put the setup to the acid test. After the session, the Blue Tomato Team rider Felix Widnig shared his thoughts:

First and most importantly – did you have fun at the park shoot?

Felix: “Definitely! The day was nice and we had quite a blast. The follow lines were also pretty strong!”

What’s your opinion about this year’s setup of the Superpark?

Felix: “I think, the bowl in the end section of the park is very special and it makes a lot of fun to ride it. My personal highlight of the shoot happened also exactly there: I did a blunt on the barrier while Harald Gietler took a ride through under me. But I also really enjoyed hitting the double kinked rail.”

From a rider’s perspective, what makes the Superpark Planai special?

Felix: „The jib lines are definitely more creative compared to other parks. The options of combination are almost endless!“

This sounds like the Superpark Planai and the shape crew lead by Pavel splendidly passed the test. Have a look at the snowboard and feel the action going on amongst the lines and in the end section bowl!

The current setup is available on the newly relaunched Superpark Planai website.
