<div><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">As some have said around the tracks along the Guaíba waterfront, skateboarding won. The rain finally gave a respite in PortoAlegre this Sunday (14/04) and who was happy with life was the skateboarder <strong>Kalani Konig</strong>, born in Florianópolis, when he won the second championship in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul in the Park modality. And more: by winning the second of three stages so far of STUNational 2024, he opened even more at the top of the Brazilian ranking. At the age of 16, one of the great names of the new generation, he is already planning the Los Angeles-2028 Olympic Games.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">It was indeed a very atypical stage, rarely seen. Due to bad weather and unfavorable weather conditions, the competition schedule had to be greatly reduced. Of the total of four phases of the men's competition, only two were held, in an adaptation of the organization during the days of the event, so that the final could take place. Thus, the winners of each of the six heats of the qualifying phase (phase 1), which began on Friday and only ended on Saturday, ended up guaranteeing themselves in the grand final this Sunday.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">In this way, the final ended up being disputed by Kalani Konig, <strong>Gustavo Picaski</strong>, <strong>Victor Ikeda</strong>, <strong>Murilo Peres</strong>, <strong>Diego Takahashi</strong> and <strong>Mateus Guerreiro</strong>. In this decisive phase, skaters compete in two 20-minute halves with a technical break of seven minutes, which was eventually reduced to three minutes. The scores are applied by the judges each round, and the best of them is worth the final score. In this period, each one managed to do six laps and, in the end, better for Kalani Konig, champion with a score of 83.17.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">"It's the best possible feeling, I love Porto Alegre, my father and my grandparents are from here. Riding in the final alongside friends and idols, like Murilo Peres and Mateus Guerreiro, is really cool. I'm very happy to win here again. I just have to thank everyone who came these days, even in the rain. They were difficult days, very bad, because you come to the track focused, then it rains and you lose concentration, you lose focus, you have to warm up again when the weather improves... I woke up today very anxious, because the weather was still weird and I didn't know if I was going to run. It's good that it didn't rain and we managed to finish the stage. It ended up working out, I got some good laps and took the title," said Kalani.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">That's when he unveiled a bold goal he set earlier in the year. If it didn't work out very well in the first stage, right at home, on a new and impressive Park track in his Florianópolis, Kalani managed to fulfill it in Criciúma and, now, in Porto Alegre. And as the subject in question was a goal to fulfill, he took the opportunity to project a not so distant future to talk about one of his biggest dreams as a sportsman.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">"I put it in my head, I even wrote it down in a notebook, to try to win all the stages of the STU this year. At least, there have been two. Another goal is to try to make two podiums in the same stage, in Street and Park, which no one has managed to do so far. The closest I got in the same stage was two fourth places," he revealed. "But I really want to be in Los Angeles in 2028. I'll definitely be there. I also want to take this opportunity to thank my father and mother, who have always supported me and have always been with me since I started", he concluded.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The stage of STU Porto Alegre is presented by Banco BV and has Petrobras as its master sponsor, in addition to sponsorships from the Porto Alegre City Hall, Monster Energy, Tiger and Fruki. It is approved by CBSk and has Kenner as a special partner, in addition to the official partners Eletromídia, Altermark and Matriz Skateshop. Support is from FGSKT, ABPSK and Drop Dead.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>FINAL RESULT - MEN'S PARK</strong></div><div style="text-align: justify;">1st – Green Konig – 83,17</div><div style="text-align: justify;">2nd – Gustavo Picaski – 79.39</div><div style="text-align: justify;">3rd – Victor Ikeda – 79,00</div><div style="text-align: justify;">4th – Murilo Peres – 78.17</div><div style="text-align: justify;">5th – Diego Takahashi – 74,00</div><div style="text-align: justify;">6th – Mateus Guerreiro – 50,00</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Photos: </strong>Pablo Vaz/STU </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Follow our networks:</strong></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Instagram: @skatetotalurbe</div><div style="text-align: justify;">TikTok: @skatetotalurbe</div><div style="text-align: justify;">YouTube: Stew Channel</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Linkedin: @স্কেট-total-urbe</div>
