Whether you surf, skate or snowboard, SOLOSHOT3 gives you the freedom to shoot pro-quality video without relying on a cameraman. SOLOSHOT3 automatically pans, tilts and zooms to track all your moves, for over 3 hours. No line of sight required. This brilliant camera-bot was dreamed up by surfing engineers in the Dominican Republic and has developed over the years into the incredible Soloshot 3 model. The system mimics professional film equipment setup with a tripod-mounted Base that communicates with a wearable Tag to control the camera while tracking subjects up to 2,000 feet away. You don’t need anyone else to fiddle with gear or assist in setup. In short, mount camera on Base, pair Base with Tag and go play! Editing is made just as simple. SOLOSHOTedit intelligently identifies highlights and pushes them to the SOLOSHOTcloud for you to view anytime, anywhere, from any device. You can also manually mark highlights, in real time, right from your Tag.With the addition of the Solo Shot app that's shortly launching, you'll soon be able to live stream all your rides and let your family, friends and fans in on all the action. As with previous versions it also allows for tracking multiple tags at once, so you catch all the best footage of you and your crew together - at the swipe of a finger. You can choose how much zoom you’re after with a 25x or 65x optical lens or, if you have your own super cam already, there's the option to purchase an adapter bundle. As the clip shows, filming, editing & sharing couldn't be easier. The SOLOSHOT Story In 2011, Chris Boyle founded Soloshot Inc. to develop a way for surfers to film themselves without a camera operator. The initial team - a group of extreme sports loving engineers - crossed paths in Cabarete, Dominican Republic where they didn’t have a dedicated cameraman to consistently record high‐quality footage of their surf sessions. From the initial problem came their brainchild solution: Team decided to replace the need for a devoted videographer with cutting-edge, auto-tracking robotic technology - your very own robot cameraman. Boyle convinced his team to move to Texas to begin manufacturing their own consumer electronics product and shipped the first SOLOSHOT units in 2012. Now, SOLOSHOT has successfully launched two product generations and officially announced the launch of its third generation product, SOLOSHOT3 on November 23, 2015.To find out more about all the specs head over to www.soloshot.com.
