Just imagine being able to bomb down the slope before school or work - every single day!

The ultimate boarders paradise apartment block could become a reality for some fortunate riders in Astana, capital of Kazakhstan. And if you're not lucky enough to get one of the 421 apartments that lie beneath this incredible run, then all is not lost - there will be a separate entrance with panoramic lifts to take visitors up to the top. They can then enjoy a ride of 326 metres to the pavement below, and there should be plenty of space for showing off as the slope would be 27 meters wide. This massive project would cost around $70 million dollars to construct and if the project gets the investors needed would be the first city block to combine housing with a slalom run.

This neat little animation shows the concept in action:

It's the perfect answer for residents of the city, who endure cold snowy winters, but have far to go if they want to get to any slopes.

Some of the other benefits of creating such a stellar building include that there’s nothing like this anywhere else on the planet, so reckon it'd make its way onto a few crazy bucket lists. It’s also a really fab use of space for added entertainment in a busy city, and it can be used all year round. Use of 'Snowflex' pavement, would make summer shredding part of life too! You can see the Snowflex surface in action below.

Would be cool to see this unique design brought to life in the Kazakh capital, and then taken to further cities around the world! Hoping it happens.
