The start of the day already promised perfect conditions and paved the way for a winning streak during the Shred Poker: The setup sparkled in the morning light and if you listened carefully you could hear the crew’s shape tools scratching during the last fine-tuning of the setup. The shred heads arrived at the park, one after another and rode their first warm-up lines. Soon after, the beats dropped, and the speakers filled the park area with fine sounds. The snowboarders and freeskiers gathered at the Chill Area where speaker Vincent Frey welcomed the crowd. “It’s on” echoed through the park and the poker action took off right away.

Creativity, style and poker chips

The Cannon Tube in the park’s jib section which the shape crew just set up was promoted to the special obstacle of the day. The following shred session was a banger: non-stop style and progression. All shred heads gave it their all and impressed big time. There were no limits to the riders’ creativity: send it or slide it, the Cannon was a suitable shred toy for everyone. Check out the sickest moves in the Snowboard recap video below!

And these sick moves were rewarded with poker chips. Dinar Galimov cleared 38 tokens – highest amount of the day – und was happy about €160 prize money! Matteo Moser received the second most poker chips and won a pot with €150. Tilo Haberecht was just behind Matteo, collected 21 chips and put €80 cash straight into his pockets. Natalia Kusztal showed some steezy slides and impressed the crowd – first place in the Women’s category and €50 cash on the nail.

Yet, all Shred Poker gamblers were winners last Sunday. During the prize giving, the riders could swap their poker chips for goodies from QParks, TSG, Amplifi, POW and Pinetime! “Yeah, it was a rad session at Ehrwald today. Super nice, awesome tricks, everyone was sending it, the kids also performed big time!”, Dinar Galimov said.

The prize giving was not the end of the Shred Poker, though. What would a relaxed Shred Poker Session be without a BBQ and chilled drinks in the park afterwards? The riders enjoyed freshly crispy grilled sausages as well as the sun and had chats about the moves of the day.
