<div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The fourth edition of the SEAT Pro Netanya returns this week from January 10-19, 2019 to officially launch this year’s World Surf League (WSL) Qualifying Series.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">This event brought professional surfing back to Israel for the first time in 2016 and has since built its profile up to a QS3,000 attracting athletes from all regions of the WSL. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">This year, an unprecedented field of over 115 competitors will fight it out in the Mediterranean waves of Netanya for a piece of the QS points and astounding US$70,000 total prize money purse.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Previous event winners in Netanya include newly qualified Championship Tour competitor <strong>Peterson Crisanto (BRA)</strong>, South-African rising star <strong>Matthew McGillivray (ZAF)</strong> and long-time QS threat <strong>Pedro Henrique (PRT)</strong>. World No. 16 on the Qualifying Series last season <strong>Jorgann Couzinet (FRA)</strong> will lead this year’s field into the opening event.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Situated roughly 30 minutes North of Tel Aviv, Netanya boasts long stretches of beach and multiple peaks that produce fun, rippable surf and can deliver great conditions on the day.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">And while swell activity can be slow in the Mediterranean, any lay day in Israel offers plenty of cultural activities for first-time visitors and returning surfers. Mountains in the North, the buzzing center of Tel Aviv, ancient city of Jerusalem or the Dead Sea are popular day visits for surfers and their entourage.</div><div><br /></div>
