<div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Press Release from the World Skate:</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Dear Friends,</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">I hope this message finds you happy and in good shape. Over the past 12 months, following the halt of Olympic Qualification events and the outbreak of COVID 19, we have continually monitored the constantly changing developments of the pandemic with the aim of resuming competition in due time and when safe.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Our attention has been devoted to monitoring a series of parameters, both globally and at the host country level, in order to guarantee smooth travel and event operations, as well as providing a safe competition environment to our Skateboarding family as a whole. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">With great pleasure we made the first calendar announcement for 2021 on the 15th of March, with two event opportunities per discipline, including World Championships, to be held between May and June 2021. For the Street World Championship, we were able to provide specific information that included dates and location, and while we had confirmed dates, the host city for the Park Skateboarding remained pending.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"> Unfortunately, after having changed two host countries in the last two months and having worked tirelessly in the last three weeks seeking an alternate location for the event, we have to announce the cancellation of the Park World Championships 2021.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">By effect of this decision, the <a href="https://www.boardriding.com/events/summer-dew-tour-des-moines-ia-2021" target="_blank">Des Moines DewTour</a> stop will be the last qualification point opportunity for Park Skateboarding.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">As part of the contingency plan approved by the IOC Executive Board, the direct access quotas to the Olympic Games, offered through the Park World Championships to podium finishers of both genders, will be reallocated and assigned through the Olympic World Skate Ranking.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Please click <a href="https://worldskate.us10.list-manage.com/track/click?u=43b3031268ad67de1de810dcb&id=99bc6d6eca&e=11aa505345" target="_blank">here</a> for the Tokyo 2020 Bulletin 07 and find the updated Olympic Qualification system <a href="https://worldskate.us10.list-manage.com/track/click?u=43b3031268ad67de1de810dcb&id=99bc6d6eca&e=11aa505345" target="_blank">here</a>.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>About World Skate</strong></div><div style="text-align: justify;"> World Skate, founded in 1924 in Switzerland, works to unify the unique characteristics of skateboarding and roller sports, and to promote their global development.
