The World Rookie Tour is in full swing, and the action keeps getting hotter! With Finland and Poland already delivering epic competitions, it’s time to gear up for the next stops. There are plenty of chances to show your skills, earn your spot at the World Rookie Finals, and even win an all-inclusive ticket (entry fee + accommodation)!

🏂 For snowboarders, the tour is hitting France (11th - 13th February), Germany (15th - 16th February), Hungary (21st - 23th February), and Japan (25th February), bringing top-tier freestyle action across the globe.

🎿 For freeskiers, Austria (21st - 23th February) is the place to be, with major competitions that promise insane tricks and unforgettable moments.

The Innsbruck Rookie Fest is set in the legendary Nordkette Skyline Park, a high-altitude freestyle paradise towering above the city of Innsbruck. Known for its stunning views, perfectly shaped jumps, and innovative rail sections, this event is a must for any young snowboarder or freeskier looking to push their limits and earn a spot in the World Rookie Finals.

The World Rookie Tour is making an exciting return to Japan with the X-Jam Rookie Fest 2025! Set for February 25th at the renowned X-Jam Takaifuji in Nagano, this event offers young snowboarders a unique opportunity to compete on an international stage and earn valuable points toward qualifying for the World Rookie Finals.

Following in the footsteps of champions like Hiroto Ogiwara, the Japanese rider and World Rookie Champion in 2021 and 2022, this event is a launching pad for young athletes aiming for a professional snowboarding career. Beyond the competition, participants will have the chance to enhance their skills, build international friendships, and experience one of Japan's top snowboarding destinations.

The World Rookie Tour is organized by the Black Yeti ssrl in collaboration with the World Snowboard Federation, National Snowboard, Ski and Skateboard Associations, and selected action sports agencies. It was born in 2005 as a series of youth snowboard events and it consists now of a selection of high-quality International events for snowboard, Freeski, Skateboard and Surf, the so-called "Rookie Fests", reserved for riders under 18's only, in Europe, North and South America, Oceania and Asia. The World Rookie Tour consists not only of competitions: it also features loads of other activities to help rookies to grow in the field of professional action sports, such as photo & video shootings, avalanche, and rescue clinics, meetings with photographers, and international team managers, parties and English talks. Since year zero, it awards tickets to world-class events such as X Games Norway, Audi Nines, The Arctic Challenge, The Air & Style, The World Snowboarding Championships, Red Bull Roller Coaster, Simple Session, Mystic Sk8 Cup, invitations to professional photo & video shootings, and shooting trip all around the world. Every year the tour crowns the World Rookie Champions at the end of the season, during the World Rookie Finals, a unique event format where the best youngsters from almost 30 countries compete and have fun. One of the most successful project is the World Rookie Tour, the biggest and the most famous tour in the action sports world that attracts 3.000 young athletes from 30 nations to the events called “Rookie Fest”, organized all over the world: Europe, North and South America, Oceania and Asia.
