<div>On-going wind gusts and heavy snowfall forced the event organizers of the Sprint U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix to cancel the Halfpipe event at Mammoth Mountain today, after rescheduling Qualifiers earlier this week.</div><div> <br />“It was a tough week with the weather. Mammoth did such an incredible job building and getting this event ready, but unfortunately when weather comes in like this it’s something that’s out of your control. The event organizers did the best job they could making the right decision for the riders. You hardly ever see event organizers do what’s in the best interest of the riders and for snowboarding. But today they did that. They weren’t going to force us to go in conditions that weren’t safe and weren’t going to showcase the best of our efforts.” – Kelly Clark</div><div> </div><div>The decision regarding the WST Pro Series Halfpipe ranking, is currently being evaluated.
