Regardless of age or gender, whether you‘re tall, short, famous, young, experienced, an oldie but a goldie or even a race king, weekend cruiser, Olympic champion, park shredder, pipe rider or boardercross fan – the SuddenRush LAAX is open to EVERYONE! Over the course of the last six editions, the aptly named OPEN class has always received the most registrations. The OPEN category has also produced the day’s best times, leaving many pros baffled. In this respect, and after one year of pandemic break it is a great pleasure for the hosting resort LAAX to organise the 2022 SuddenRush Banked Slalom LAAX for all snowboarders - professional and amateur riders.</p><div style="text-align: justify;">In March 2022, up to 350 riders will race along the steep curve course <strong>in 14 categories near Crap Sogn Gion mountain at the 7th SuddenRush Banked Slalom LAAX</strong>: from the masters (= over forty years old) and pros on Friday, <strong>March 4, 2022</strong>, to the OPEN women and men on Saturday, <strong>March 5, 2022</strong>, to the children and youth on Sunday, <strong>March 6, 2022</strong>. There will also be the Fakie race at the end – where everyone will be riding the many curves down, backwards.
