<div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">On March 18th, 2023, the last girls shred session of the season took place and was without a doubt a day for the history books. With blue skies and sunshine at the Snowpark Kitzbühel on the Resterhöhe the girls shredded what it's worth and definitely none of the jib obstacles were left out. The 25 participants not only brought a good mood to the shred session, but also showed a lot of will power and shred talent. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Let's hit the park, Jacky!</strong> </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">On a sunny morning, the snowboarders and freeskiers arrived at the snow park on the Resterhöhe and you could already feel the excitement and good mood to the fullest. With a playful warm-up, prepared by our coaches and freestyle queens <strong>Siobhan Callis </strong>(SBD), <strong>Maria Steiner</strong> (SBD),<strong> Vanessa Mayerosch</strong> (FSK) and <strong>Patrizia Holzmann</strong> (FSK), the girls were prepared for the upcoming progression session and afterwards divided into 4 groups per rider level. After a few short hellos and an exchange of acquaintances, they went straight to the park and onto the first obstacles. Together with the coaches, the girls were able to practice their first slides and jumps and got their adrenaline levels up to full speed. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Chill break at the Hanglalm </strong></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">For lunch, the girls were allowed to browse the menu in the Hanglalm and choose between Schnitzel & fries, Kaiserschmarrn, Käsespätzle, soups and more. Of course, a Skiwasser was also a must, in order to properly replenish the electrolyte stores for the second coaching session. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">“The atmosphere was so nice; we had a lot of fun in the first session and I'm already looking forward to the second. But now let's fill up our bellies with a good lunch!” said freeskier Iris with a grin on her face. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Already after the first session you could see that the girls didn't do things by halves and were ready for every challenge. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Snowboarder Anja enthused: “I learned a lot of new things, tried new tricks and got tips for my own visits to the park. In addition, the atmosphere here is amazing, I'm so happy to be here today!" </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Big progression of the Jibqueens</strong> </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Without a doubt, the girls not only put all their energy into the shred session, but also made huge progress. One would like to believe that the beginner groups would have made themselves comfortable on the boxes, but no! Tubes, rails and later kickers were made unsafe after not too long practice and the girls didn't show any shyness. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Some of the participants proudly reported that they had shredded a rail for the first time and, thanks to the coaches, found their way around immediately. Moments of success such as the first 360, frontside boardslide and backside boardslide on the box and also down tube were celebrated together with great cheering. "The progression was awesome; I'm super impressed with our girls!" shared snowboard coach Mary. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Thanks for everything and see you soon!</strong> </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Big thanks to KitzSki and our partners Boardriding, Blue Tomato, Golden Ride Magazine for helping us and the girls have such an unforgettable day. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Gils Shred Sessions, all participants were allowed to try their luck and take part in our great #onedecadeofgirlpower-Give Away. There were mega prizes to be won from WaveSisters, GoPro, Mons Royale and Golden Ride. </div>
