That motto has been proudly written on the sleeves of QParks for years – all female snowboarders and freeskiers are looking forward to several action-packed sessions in as many as 5 snowparks! At the quattro Snow Park Obergurgl Cat Nicol and her female only crew - all of them passionate shredders and shapers - are in complete control of the park. They’re already eagerly waiting the first session to come. Traditionally, the next stop takes place at the Superpark Planai, where you can look forward to spending an awesome day together with your hosts from the Blue Tomato crew. At the Vans Penken Park Mayrhofen you’re most likely to catch up with heroes such as Aimee Fuller und Anna Gassser – you definitely don’t wanna miss out on the shred session with the pros! ATTENTION all the girls from southern Germany – at date number 4 you will have the chance to rip the jib line at the badenova Snowpark Feldberg to bits, just in time before the final and probably longest session at Hochkönig – at the Blue Tomato Girls Day a staggering 1,1 km park area is waiting for your gnarliest moves! Girls Shred…What? You haven’t heard of the Girls Shred Sessions yet? Well, then it’s high time, because each session is going to prove to be an unforgettable day at the park. You’ll be shredding alongside plenty of other highly motivated girls, while experienced snowboard and freeski coaches will offer their helpful advice and support you morally. “Each year more girls are coming for some proper shred sessions and I think it’s just amazing to watch them progress,” coach and snowboard pro Ana Rumiha says. It’s the perfect chance for you to practice various new tricks in a totally relaxed atmosphere and also to hang out with some new shred friends. As freeskier Patrizia Holzmann puts it, “It’s my third season and you get to know more and more new motivated chicks each year!”What’s New This Winter? There’s good news for those of you who are already in the know. You’ll find the collected recaps and videos of the past season and all of the upcoming dates for 2017 on the brand-new Girls Shred Sessions Website. Create your personal profile in the Rider Corner and share your shred pics and season edits. What’s more, this year there’ll be freeski and snowboard coaches to support you with their tips at each date.
