<div><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The schedule and venues for the world’s top young and aspiring freeriders became official today. More than 3000 FJT riders and 2000 FWQ athletes hoping to earn their spot on the FWT, will compete in a total of 170 events in two global regions: Europe/Oceania and the Americas.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>FREERIDE JUNIOR TOUR :</strong></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The FJT launches into the new season with <strong>3000 young riders</strong> looking to make a name for themselves. <strong>U-14</strong> riders will continue to blow minds at selected events. This year will see a change for <strong>ski men who will be split into two categories: U-16 and U-18.</strong></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Exciting new events are on the schedule in both <strong>Iceland</strong> and <strong>Japan</strong> and the season finale will return to <strong>Verbier</strong>, coinciding <strong>with the Freeride World Tour finals</strong>, where the tour champions will be crowned.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>FREERIDE WORLD QUALIFIER :</strong></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Eleven 4* events around the world will determine who makes the cut for the Freeride World Tour 2020: top 3 ski men, top 1 ski women, top 1 snowboard men, top 1 snowboard women per region. With one 4* event having already taken place in New Zealand, 4 events remain up for grabs in Europe and 6 in North America for the 2019 4* season.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">This year, the recently upgraded Open Faces 4* event in Montafon will replace the long standing Bigmountain Hochfügen 4* and Jasna Adrenalin will be back in 2020.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">This FWQ season will also see new events with exciting venues in locations such as <strong>Iceland</strong>, <strong>Lebanon</strong> and <strong>Japan</strong>. Furthermore, there will be several opportunities for FWQ rookies to collect points at the newly added Verbier Freeride Week 1* event, the Alpbachtal 1* and the Ride&Style 1*.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The final 4* events in both regions will happen on the same weekend in early April in Obergurgl-Hochgurgl and Kirkwood, deciding who will make Freeride World Tour 2020.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The 2019 FWQ and FJT seasons will feature a diverse international roster, exciting new venues, and plenty of progressive riding by athletes looking to reach the next level and eventually a spot on the FWT20 roster.
