At the third and final stop of this season it was all about height at the Snowpark Schöneben. The shape crew around park designer Moritz Klammer spent days to create an obstacle unique to any other out there: “Tubisfaction” – a Kicker with Gap to the Tube, two Downtubes on the back and two massive Corners guaranteed serious airtime.

During the warm-up phase riders were taking it a little slower on the special obstacle. As soon as the speaker pronounced the beginning of the session, time of resistance was over, though. Front flips, back flips, spins in all possible revs and heights – the level of trick-creativity increased continuously. Also, the way the riders attacked the Multihit changed over time – whereas at first it was mainly about the possibilities on the corner, the Mini-Pipe became the focus, but soon and the Gap to the Tube became the real playground.

However, nobody was more motivated than the shape crew itself: After shoving around masses of snow for the last couple of days, they couldn’t wait to try themselves on their own masterpiece. After an intense competition on the Corner, shaper Lukas Hofer ended up with 23 poker chips and won this session. He wasn’t only going home with 200€ cash, he also broke the records of most chips collected so far. This result was followed by park designer Moritz Klammer and shaper Lukas Ruggenthaler on second and third place. Ines Klaasen convinced the judges with lots of motivation, nice spins and creative approaches. She received goodies, 50€ cash and the title of the Best Girl for her performance.

After everybody had traded their well-deserved poker chips into goodies from Pinetime Clothing, Amplifi, TSG and QParks and the winners had collected the money for their party-savings, the session ended at nice beats and BBQ in the Chill Area especially built for this event.

Check out the video recap below and find all photos on www.snowpark-schoeneben.com.
