<div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">THE RETURN OF A CHAMPION</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Starting things off on this beautiful Friday morning, early risers gathered around the Crédit Agricole Languedoc Street Park to support our six finalists in the Women Skate Pro competition. After two 50-second runs for each contestant, and a final round with five attempts to land two of their best tricks, the judges delivered their rankings.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">In third place comes the super stylish <strong>Jéromine Louvet</strong>, who laced both an ollie on the stair gap and a feeble on the down rail. Coming all the way from Spain, young up-and-comer <strong>Daniela Terol Mendez</strong> challenged her elders with two smooth runs, starting off with a beautiful air on the hip and lacing tricks all over the course. That wasn’t enough to take down <strong>Charlotte Hym</strong>, however, as the current French Champion let her technical prowess take over. With her solid overall performance and her final boardslide on the down rail, she takes home the gold medal once again!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Chill vibes and quality skateboarding to start off this third day here in Montpellier, and a lot more coming up on the schedule: stay tuned for the very best of action sports!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">SKATEBOARD STREET PRO - MEN SEMI-FINAL</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">It was a stacked line up for the Men’s Skateboard Street Pro Semi-Finals, and the Montpellier crowds had come out in droves to support the healthy contingent of French Talent.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">There were 12 skaters hoping to get one of the 8 places in tomorrow’s final and they each had 2 runs of 50 seconds to show the judges why they deserved to be there.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The crowd favorite seemed to be FISE regular <strong>Aurelien Giraud</strong> from Lyon. He is a skater who needs no introduction and we have seen his star and talent rise since he joined the FISE as a youngster. He is now one of the most well-known skaters in the world today. His performance was good enough for 6th place meaning we will see him back on the Street Course tomorrow.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The judges ranked Peruvian Skater <strong>Angelo Caro</strong> first and the difficulty of the tricks he landed showed why. Some stand out moments in his run included a kickflip backside 50-50 and a front blunt, big spin front board.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">In second was FISE Montpellier 2019 winner <strong>Ke’chaud Johnson</strong>, who impressed everyone with his powerful skating and ability to grind up rails. Another familiar FISE face in 3rd spot, <strong>Riso Tury</strong>. Both of his runs were absolutely jam packed with tricks which were executed flawlessly as always, looking forward to seeing what he has up his sleeve for the finals.</div>
