<p style="text-align: justify;">In its very first season, the new Golden Roofpark at Axamer Lizum already became the number one choice for shred heads around Innsbruck. However, the terrific amount of 99 starters at the Gold & Glory got the organizers of the contest really stoked. Snowboarders from all over Europe obviously didn’t want to miss this premiere and tested the new park on its shredability during the contest. </p><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><p style="text-align: justify;">There were several reasons that made this seventh QParks Snowboard Tour Stop at the brand-new Golden Roofpark such a success: blue skies and sunshine, a nice slopestyle setup featuring a rail, a tube, four kickers and a corner – besides a park full of enthusiastic freestylers. Here’s who, out of 46 snowboarders went home packed with goodies from WeAre, QParks, AMPLIFI and Pinetime Clothing plus extra pocket money in a total value of 1,200 €. </p><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><p style="text-align: justify;">Fame and honor was given to the Austrian snowboarder Felix Reicher, who became first place in the category Snowboard Men, followed by Henrik Meyn (NLD) and Linus Birkendahl (GER). The second, Dutch snowboarder Henrik, additionally convinced the judges with a Hardway Frontside 270 on the Down Rail which rewarded him with the title for the Best Trick. </p><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><p style="text-align: justify;">Till Strohmeyer (GER) threw down a Backside Lipside, a Backside 540 Stalefish, a Switch Backside 540 and a Frontside 360 Stalefish and won the category Snowboard Grom Men, ahead of British rider Gabe Adams and Benedikt Fridbjornsson (ISL). </p><div style="text-align: justify;"> </div><p style="text-align: justify;">Atop the Snowboard Women, Klara Dinold (AUT) was the riderette of the day with her Backside Lipslide, a Backside 3 Indy, a Frontside 180 Frontside Grab and a Cab 1 Mute. The second place was also taken by a well-known Austrian shred girl – Lisa Veith, followed by Luca Mai Lane Hopkins from the UK. The Brit lived up to this QParks Snowboard Tour Stops title and further won the Snowboard Grom Women category.
